Conferences

The Broda O. Barnes, M.D. Research Foundation, Inc. is pleased to present an exciting program for our 2004 Fall Endocrinology Conference.  We are happy to announce that our conference has been Approved for 19 Prescribed Credit Hours by the AAFP.

This conference will focus largely on growth hormone deficiency and the impact it has on the endocrine system, particularly thyroid and cortisol hormones. Segments will discuss how to properly diagnosis a deficiency as well as the benefits and importance of replacement therapy. We will also discuss some of the more common pitfalls of using growth hormone and see some interesting case studies in an adult population.

Additional topics will focus on the link between thyroid imbalances and iodine deficiency, oxytocin treatment and nitric acid production in fibromyalgia pateints, maternal thyroid insufficiency, good and bad dietary fats, and the possible link between cancers and thyroid and iodine deficiencies.

As always, we will also offer a review of the basic endocrine protocols for thyroid, adrenal and gonadal deficiencies.

Our extensive presentations and ample Q & A time will make this the one seminar you don’t want to miss this year. We look forward to seeing you there!
